Grand Central Market was a Portland retail hub in the 1930s, playing a major role in the economic development of the Central Eastside Neighborhood. The goal of this restoration is to revive an historic Portland landmark and revitalize the Morrison-Belmont retail corridor.
The 618 Building, formerly known as the Oregon Cracker Building is located at the western foot of the Broadway Bridge, just south of Union Station. Major building refurbishments have recently been completed. The building features high ceilings, exposed brick, wood floors and fantastic natural light for creative, office and retail use.
Built in 1894, the Manhattan Hotel Building is a 12,600 square foot 3-story building with basement. All three floors are leasable space. The 4,200 square foot first floor is occupied by Dixie Tavern. The 2nd and 3rd floors (4,200 square feet each) are unoccupied office spaces that Foresight will be leasing to prospective tenants for occupancy in 2008.
